Steve Decker was born in the Great Plains state of South Dakota. He spent his childhood roaming the fields and gained a love for expanses of open space and all the wildlife that lived there.

His higher education was completed at Eastern Michigan University where he got a Bachelors of Business Administration degree. While living in Michigan Steve was again drawn to the wildlife area, the many lakes of Michigan.

Steve moved to Denver, Colorado shortly after college and started a career in Real Estate. He is one of the most respected and knowledgeable Brokers in the Denver area having successfully helped thousands of families find the right home for them.

Steve has seen the ups and downs of the Denver market and has learned, using imagination and creativity to get transactions completed to the benefit of all the parties involved.

Steve’s love for open spaces and wildlife have never left him, now he is an amateur birder, and is often found looking skyward identifying birds and waterfowl. He has identified over 50 species in his own back yard!

The passion Steve has for homes that offer expansive views, waterfront, or just open space shows through in his Real Estate work. His company Wild Heron Properties is focused on finding just those type of properties that offer a high quality of surroundings.
